Pandemic Pet Portraits

In March 2020, a lot of client work that I had been counting on suddenly stopped, so I began offering custom pet illustrations to help me get by.

I decided to raise money for the BLM movement and migrants at the US-Mexico border. For a specific time, 75% of proceeds from portraits were donated to March for Black Womxn San Diego and the Otay Mesa Detention Resistance; we raised almost $500 for each organization. It was a great special for me to be able to combine art and social justice in this project.
